Rheinhold Remer
| Rheinhold was born on November 19, 1921 in Saginaw, MI. He was the 8th child of Frederick and Lydia. Rheinhold was raised in Saginaw, MI with his mother and father and 10 siblings. On June 24, 1941, Rheinhold married Dorothy Keene. The couple moved into a home in southern Saginaw County, Michigan. Rheinhold worked at the Chevorlet Gray Iron Factory for 14 years. He also served in the US Army, Red Arrow 32nd Division during WWII. On May 31, 1961 Rheinhold passed way from colon cancer. Though Dorothy and Rhienhold were married for just short of 20 years, Dorothy never remarried after Rhienhold's death. Rheinhold now rests in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Saginaw, MI. |
