Drew Kevin Remer

Drew was born on November 27, 1956 in Saginaw, MI. He was the youngest of Rheinhold and Dorothy's seven children.

When Drew was just 4 years old, his father passed way. Drew was raised solely by his mother Dorothy, with help from his older siblings as well. Drew graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1974, after graduation he joined the Army and served overseas in Europe.

Before leaving for Europe, Drew met Barbara Brzeczkiewicz at his brother's (Fordney) wedding. Drew and Barbara wrote to each while he was overseas. The two were married on May 21, 1977.

Drew and Barb had three children (Kevin - 1978, Cliff - 1979, and Jennie - 1981). In 1984, Drew started working at the Midland Post Office, and the family moved to Midland in 1985.

 In late 1999 Drew was diagnosed with Appendix Cancer, he had surgery followed by chemo therapy treatments. In late 2001 he was diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Again Drew had surgery followed by chemo and radition treatments. In spring of 2004 his cancer returned, and on September 23, 2004 Drew passed away.

Drew currently rests in Midland Memorial Gardens in Midland, MI.
